As one of the classes at the College of Architecture, I had the opportunity to attend a course that involved constructing an actual house from the ground up in four phases. This experience allowed me to learn how to use specific, complicated tools and materials, from the basics to the advanced stages. Taking this class made me realize that learning on-site is far more valuable than learning in an office environment.
